What information is being collected?
We only ask for and collect personal data that we need to provide and improve the service, products and experiences our customers expect.

Our website it not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

When someone visits www.borghi.com we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.
Newsletter Sign Up
As part of the registration process for our regular e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent, share or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver some of our mailings including our Newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. All emails sent by us will be clearly marked as originating from us. All such emails will also include clear instructions on how to unsubscribe from our email service and any future emails.
You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

In particular, we want you to know that we are not in the business of renting, sharing or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing or any other purposes. We pledge to handle your data fairly and legally at all times and in the manner you would expect.

Where do we store your data?
The data that we collect from you is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside of the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be carried out in compliance with applicable laws.
For transfers outside the EEA, the Borghi S.p.A. will use Standard Contractual Clauses and Shields as safeguards for countries without adequacy decisions from the European Commission.
